Modern life seems determined to undermine faith in God at every step. That’s why we gather: to remind ourselves we are not isolated—not from each other and not from God.
Rather than my worried, anxious petitions repeating in my head, I now had something I could grab hold of and pray.
Pressures in our lives can build and pull us in different directions. These pressures pull against our sense of well-being, and anxiety begins to overwhelm us.
