THP: What first attracted you to Tyndale House Publishers?
Sarah: I was looking for my second entry-level job and feeling pretty discouraged about my options, but when I read the copyeditor job description (reading and working on real-life, soon-to-be-published books!!!), I felt like an excited little kid. I think I actually jumped up and down.
THP: What has made your department a pleasant/enjoyable place to work?
Sarah: The Editorial Department is so quiet and peaceful, but also filled with fun, creative, and quirky people. It's a very loving and supportive atmosphere, where it's cool to be passionate about grammar and punctuation. It's a challenging environment with many opportunities to expand your skills and try new things.
THP: What has made Tyndale House Publishers a unique/exceptional place to work?
Sarah: I'm still astounded by how much the company cares about its employees—everyone is a valued member of the community. I love seeing the different ways in which we as a company remain true to our founding principles while embracing progress and pursuing relevance.
