THP: What first attracted you to Tyndale House Publishers?
Kim: I began as a freelance copy editor in 2000. At the time I was a stay-at-home mom who wanted to gain more experience editing so I'd be ready to re-enter the job force. When that time came, I knew I wanted to work full-time for Tyndale. Even as a freelancer, I appreciated the high quality of Tyndale's products and the caring professionalism of its staff.
THP: What has made your department a pleasant/enjoyable place to work?
Kim: Because I have always loved to read and consider new ideas, Tyndale's editorial department is a great fit for me. My work is made even better because I am surrounded by talented people who work hard, support one another, and see their job as a means to bring glory to God and build up our readers.
THP: What has made Tyndale House Publishers a unique/exceptional place to work?
Kim: Tyndale invests in its employees. In my case, I have been entrusted with new responsibilities that fit my interest and have been encouraged to attend editorial conference to develop even further. Tyndale offers its employees many other great benefits as well.
