What first attracted you to Tyndale House Publishers?
David: The contribution Tyndale makes to the Kingdom. Not only each product that we sell that has impact for Eternity, but the giving of the Foundation from our profits.  As I shared in my testimony during our chapel time, I believe that in eternity, Tyndale will be recognized not just as the three story building in Carol Stream, but as one of God's mountains that we have had a privilege to serve on.

What has made your department a pleasant/enjoyable place to work?
David: The people. Hard workers with no personal agendas, but focusing on work that will accelerate the expansion of the Kingdom's borders. I love the sense of humor of many in the sales group, and that they want to have fun while they succeed.

What first attracted you to Tyndale House Publishers?
Dean: The simple idea of putting my design skills and thinking to use for a company that creates lasting impact.

Dean: It's always been the people. We have an eclectic and hugely talented team of design experts that know how to work as a team, encouraging and pushing each other to be better all the while having fun doing so.

Dean: The commitment to family and our future. You are encouraged to go home at the end of the day because Tyndale knows the importance of family time. Tyndale also prepares for our future by investing in our retirement in significant ways that blow me away ever year.

What first attracted you to Tyndale House Publishers?
Eric: Tony Dungy. I read Quiet Strength in college and was impressed with the themes and message of the work. After checking Tyndale's website and realizing the different authors they published, I found myself wanting to be a part of a company whose main goal is to further the kingdom through stories of truth. I've always wanted to be part of the modern day parable process that is Christian fiction, and Tyndale is committed to doing just that.

What has made your department a pleasant/enjoyable place to work?
Eric: Everyone cares for each other. It's fantastic to experience and hard to explain to others, but there's a general attitude of "lean on me" that I've never seen anywhere else. It's not about the bottom line as much as it is about people.  Helping people reach their full potential and sharing the story of God's love and grace with the world.

Eric: Once you're hired at Tyndale, you begin learning and you never stop. Everyone is committed to helping each other learn about the industry and the processes of publishing. Tyndale is also committed to finding each person's strengths and plugging them into jobs and opportunities that use those strengths!  So, you are not only successful but the entire company benefits fully from your strengths.

What first attracted you to Tyndale House Publishers?
Heather: I was looking for a company close to home that had a position open in the Design Department that was a fit for me. The fact that it was a Christian company was an extra blessing!

Heather: Everyone is very friendly and eager to share expertise and knowledge. Plus, they are a very happy, energetic group to work with.

Heather: I find that it is very unique to work at a place that encourages you to pray in meetings, and to grow spiritually, has chapel, and sponsors Tyndale missions trips periodically.

Jacob: The opportunity to work in the publishing industry in a reputable Christian company in the Chicago area.

Jacob: My coworkers are awesome. Tyndale House does an excellent job of hiring quality people.

Katara: I love the concept of publishing AND ministering to children/youth.

Katara: My publishing group-- by far--is the nicest, sincerest, most helpful, and all-around fun and hard-working group of people I've ever worked with.

Nancy: From its founding, Tyndale has had a reputation for serving God first. I also know several people who have worked here, and they all spoke very highly of the company and their co-workers.

What has made your department a pleasant/enjoyable place to work?
Nancy: The high collaboration within the Focus alliance, and the help of of the wider team and support departments.

Nancy: The chapel gatherings have been great. And I LOVE the ice machine.

What first attracted you to Tyndale House Publishers?
Pam: A friend who was familiar with numerous Christian companies in the area suggested I apply for a job here.

What has made your department a pleasant/enjoyable place to work?
Pam: Most of us have been in the department for many years. Even though we have ten very different people here, we have gotten to know each other and we get along well together.

Shaina: The great internship opportunities. I loved being able to get a feel for the publishing community while still in school.

Shaina: At the core of this team is collaboration. Everyone is ready and willing to pitch in and brainstorm ideas and it makes for a very productive and creative (and pleasant!) working environment.

Wesley: The fact that I would be helping to get God's word out and in the hands of those who may not have a personal relationship with Christ for themselves.

Wesley: No two days are every the same. There are so many areas in which to work that each day could be its own adventure.
